Jack for some unknown reason decided at 2am to wake up and cry. Fair enough, kids do occasionally, but he just Would not go back to sleep, we tried everything!
Giving him juice, changing his nappy, giving him milk, going and having five minute cuddle, you name it, we tried it!
2 and a half hours he was wailing! It was that awful whiney cry that is purely for attention and not for any particular reason. In the end I had to bite the bullet and ignore him. I think he was crying because he was bored and didnt want to sleep.
I just ended up having to ignore him, and get my MP3 player out soI could try and get some sleep.
As a result, he’s now been in a fowl mood, not helped by the fact that he’s refused sleep again today and has had his hip/menc jab too
I hope to god tomorrows a better day because this ones been awful!
Im off to try and get some sleep, I have the feeling he might try it on again tonight!

I seem to be getting a lot of search engine hits looking for thomas the tank engine stuff and one day through the tags spotted that theres a thomas live stage show.
“Ooooh” I thought “brilliant chance to take them to the theatre”
after a bit of investigation Ive found that for us to go, it would cost £70!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then theres money for petrol, parking in a city centre, treats for the show, programs, etc etc
Bloody ridiculous! How the hell people are able to justify that amount of money for less than 2 hours worth of entertainment is beyond me.
And they wonder why people arent going to the theatre!
