That wordpress “Support” have suggested I do simply to post a bloody picture!
How difficult can it be you ask?
Very difficult, rather that solving a problem which a large number of wordpress users are having, it seems we are expeccted simply to refresh our browser and clear our cache….
except that doesnt really work.
Now to upload an image into my posts Im expected to upload it in one little popup box, then come out, go into it again and get the URL for the picture, open the post back up, click on the space in my post that I want the picture to appear and then open ANOTHER box and retype the URL of the picture in there. After this I simply have to click post and hey presto! Its SUPPOSED to appear.
I’ll be back in about two hours once I managed to get all this done to tell you if its working.
A lot of pratting about if you ask me…
Anyone know any other good blogging platforms where its possible to import this blog??????

Thats why there have been no updates for a while. Its beginning to really annoy the heck out of me when Ive written a big post about the boys birthdays and what we got up to, and then the bloody photo’s wont work!!!!!!!
Anyone else having probs with wordpress???

It was both Boys Birthday last week.
We had planned on buying them both bikes but at the last minute got a phonecall from my Dad saying THEY had bought them for them!
Fantastic!
Trying not to be angry about the fact that they had bought something that we had only been discussing buying with my mum a week or so before, Karl then had the idea that we could buy them helmets erm no!
Grandads bought them.After coming up with numerous ideas then realising that the same Grandma and Grandad had already them or something similar in the past, we ended up having to settle on a magnadraw each and some walkie talkie sets. Exciting eh?
Next year Im going to go mad if they dont run thier presents by us first, I appreciate that they like us to be suprised by them too, but There’s nothing worse than everyone asking what your buying the kids and then looking at you like your a cheap skate because you bought them something really crappy compared to Grandma and Grandad’s present.
At least the kids are impressed though!
Dont get me wrong, Im not ungrateful, just wound up that yet again we’ve been outshne in the present department! All the kids talk about is the present Grandma and Grandad have bought and Im finding it really difficult not to get upset over the fact that our presents are being ignored.
Other than that the birthdays went well.On Jacks birthday we went for lunch with my mum and vicky at the garden centre next door to her work. Then went shopping with vicky into Sutton and had a visit from Karls mum in the afternoon.
In the evening My Mum and Dad arrived with the bikes.

After half an hour or so, we went on a huge walk with the dog round Brierly.
(Im going to have to finish updating this later, kids are awake and its like world war three in here!!!!!)

Jacks letter of acceptance for nursery has come through this week so Im really pushing the whole potty training thing. He will be starting in September and going in the mornings. I still cant believe he’s big enough to go to school! Although, he’s three this week. He’s been waking up every morning and asking if its his “Appy Birfday” today. I keep trying to explain that its lots more sleeps yet.
Anyway, Back on topic, He’s been using the potty at home for months and we’ve tried him out and about in pants a couple of times but he’s not quite been ready.
This week Ive bitten the bullet and been and bought him a little portable potty that folds up and has little bags with a liner that soaks up the wee and stops it smelling. We’ve also been and bought some new pants (Thomas ones) He picked them himself so he felt really grown up. Every time we’ve been out Ive asked him before leaving if he needs to use his potty, and nine times out of ten he doesnt, but just incase of any accidents I got Karl to order some little seat pads that will go into his car seat and soak anything up.
On the first day we tried it, he was in the car and asked me to go to the toilet. Luckily we were about two minutes away from where Karls mum works, so we nipped in to see her. He was really good and waited till we got to the toilet. He got a cake for being a big boy from Mama too so was very happy!
I think in the last week we’ve p[robably had two or three accidents, and two of them have been when he’s been having his nap and has taken his nappy off without me knowing.
So all in all Im really pleased with him! He’s very proud of himself too and keeps telling everyone that he has new big boy pants on! hehe.
Only problem now is that all of his trousers fall down because his nappy isnt padding him out round the bum anymore! lol
