Nemma’s Diary

Afternoon all!

Well its saturday night and Im bored stiff drinking copius amounts of wine from my stupidly oversized wine glasses and someone suggested I start a blog.

It probably wont be updated very often, just as and when something interesting (Or remotley interesting) happens in my life (About once every six month on average!)

To be honest Im not sure where to start.

I suppose I’d better introduce myself.

Im married with two children Jack, who was born June 05 and Luke who was born June 06. Yes, you’ve not misread it, I am one of those mad fools who fell pregnant almost straight away. there’s a year and three days between them! I swear to god, anyone who chooses to have two children this close together needs their head looking at!

I wouldnt be without them though, they are both gorgeous, even if they do regularly try and win me awards for worst mother ever!

Jack recently decided to “paint himself” with my nail varnish, reslting in a 999 call and a trip to casualty. I’d only taken my eyes off him for thirty seconds and he’d dragged a chair across, climbed onto the chair and then onto a cabinet and nicked it! I reckon he’s living up to his prebirth nickname of Flash! after many jokes about him looking like a red indian and lots of sympathy gaining face pulling and mournful looks we left casualty and had to scrub the bloody stuff off! After two hours in the bath and numerous paddys later, I gave up just trying to wash it off, stuck him in the pushchair and headed into town to buy more nailvarish remover  (Karl had used the last of mine but thats another story!)

He was loving all the attention and Mummy was feeling more red faced every second. Little sod! It was my facourite shade too!

Lukes just beginning to get his personality a lot more now. He’s started walking this week and is now giving us his best five toothed grin everytime he takes a few steps bless him! He crawled really early (5.5 months) so Im suprised that its taken him this long to walk to be honest. Although having said that Ive never seen anyone crawl as fast as him before! He’s lovely though, both of them are, they make me lagh a hundred times a day over different things and thats one of the main reasons Im starting this blog, hopefully when they are a bit older they might be able to access it and  read about some of the stuff they got up to when they were younger.

Karl (the other half) is currently away on a lads weekend in bratislava, god knows when he’s back, sometime sunday I think? He work bloody hard bless him, one job making marquees monday to friday, then his own window tinting business at weekends. I love him to bits, we’ve been together five years this year and married for three. (Jack was our honeymoon baby!)
